    Farmwest.com is a website launched in 2001 to provide weather and climate information as well as a number of decision-support tools to the agricultural sector. Farmwest is linked to 397 weather stations across Canada from federal, provincial, municipal and private weather station networks. Data includes temperature, precipitation, growing degree days, pest degree days, T-Sum calculator, and seasonal weather forecasts. Data are searchable by station and time period, and are available graphically.

    Mackenzie DataStream (Opens in a new Window)

    Mackenzie DataStream is an open access platform for sharing and exploring water data in the Mackenzie River Basin. Data are currently collected by community monitors with the help of scientists and accredited laboratories, who look for dissolved metals, turbidity, temperature, chlorophyll-a, as well as oil and gas chemicals. An interactive map may be used to select stations and locations of interest. Data are available for download in graphical and tabular formats. Please note that this resource is not supported by all internet browsers.

    Northwest Boreal Science and Management Research Tool (Opens in a new Window)

    The Northwest Boreal Science and Management Research Tool contains curated scholarly articles, datasets, state and federal resource reports, land management plans, and more. Each entry includes geographic information about the area of study, allowing users to draw a box on a map to narrow searches to information directly related to a specific region in Alaska, the Yukon, British Columbia, and Northwest Territories. This project is a collaboration among Alaska Resources Library & Information Services (ARLIS), Alaska Climate Science Center, DataBasin, and Northwest Boreal Landscape Conservation Cooperative.

    Retooling for Climate Change (Opens in a new Window)

    The ReTooling for Climate Change website of the Fraser Basin Council supports local governments and First Nations in BC in preparing for climate change adaptation. Information is available on climate change generally, impacts in BC and Canada, and community adaptation. Specific topics and sectors include water management, coastal management, hazard management, infrastructure, agriculture, environmentally sensitive areas, forests and forestry, and mining.

    Sea Level Rise (Opens in a new Window)

    The Educating Coastal Communities About Sea-level Rise (ECoAS) Project is a co-led initiative designed to translate scientific climate change research into useable information to educate coastal communities within Atlantic Canada about the need for planning for future sea-level rise impacts. The project includes online information and workshops about rising seas.
